Gardening Co-operative

Who we are: A gaggle of volunteers who like to play in the dirt and soak up the sun. Facilitated by a Master Gardener and open to everyone.

Goal: Grow friendships along with plants to beautify our church property as well as our church family. Want to bring a friend? Love it. We are informal, supportive and passionate about restoring our gardens to be environmentally sound by planting native species to attract pollinators and wildlife back to our spaces. That includes you!

What you need to know: Absolutely nothing.  We have a wide variety of gardening knowledge: some have no knowledge at all. We learn as we go. No special skills or tools required. Afraid of bugs and worms? No problem. We’ll teach you about our garden inhabitants. Celebrate with us when a new butterfly or critter is seen (again for the first time) in the garden.

Time Commitment:  Every Tuesday morning during gardening season from 9 until noon. Can’t bend over to dig? No problem. Sit in your walker or a chair and help us water or bring us water. Join us for coffee. We’d love to see you.  Can’t commit to every week? No problem. We are flexible.
