Solomon’s Porch was the place in the Temple where religious teachers would come and share their interpretations of scripture and people would debate and contend with them.

This weekly gathering looks at the upcoming Sunday’s readings and will give participants a chance to ask questions and learn more background about the texts and get thinking about what they might hear the following Sunday. You can connect to The Porch Online through Events.

Participation is not limited to those who’ve done The Porch before, but will require you to access through Zoom. You need at least a computer, or a tablet (iPad, etc), or a smart phone.
You do not need to have a webcam/camera to participate – but it’s way better if you do because seeing one another really helps deepen communication.

Instructions On How To Download and Use Zoom:

It’s best to use your computer speaker/microphone for sound, but if you can’t we now have the ability to join by phone audio.

You will only need to download and install the app/program the first time. Every time after that will be one-click attendance.
